Officials say the University of Alabama freshman who phoned in a bomb threat to Tiger Stadium could face 20 years in prison.
Prosecutors said yesterday that Connor Croll, 19, called the Baton Rouge Police non-emergency line during the LSU versus Florida game on October 12th and claimed there was a bomb inside the stadium.
District Attorney Hillar Moore said Baton Rouge Police immediately traced the call to Tuscaloosa, and Croll was arrested by local authorities.
Moore said Croll is facing charges in East Baton Rouge Parish that, if convicted, would mean a sentence of 20 years with or without hard labor.
