Louisiana State quarterback Joe Burrow is being honored as the SEC Player of the Week.
The Southeastern Conference announced yesterday that it had selected Burrow for his performance in LSU's victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday.
Burrow completed 25-passes for 398-yards and six touchdowns to become the first player in LSU history to throw for 350-yards in three straight games.
This is the third time Burrow has won the SEC Player of the Week award, joining Tommy Hudson in 1989 and JaMarcus Russell in 2006 as the only Tigers quarterbacks to earn the honor three times in one season.
