New Orleans backup quarterback Tayson Hill rallied the Saints to a 19-17 week two preseason victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Hill directed three second-half scoring drives to bring the Saints back from a 14-point deficit to even the team's exhibition record at 1-1.

Hill is competing for time as the Saints main backup with Teddy Bridgewater who started the game even though head coach Sean Payton admitted he had been battling an illness.

The Saints will next play on Saturday when they travel to Metlife Stadium for a meeting with the New York Jets.
