NFL Hall of Famer Morten Andersen is checking off another bucket list item, but this one has nothing to do with football.
Anderson, originally from Denmark, is now an American citizen.
The former kicker came to the States more than 40 years ago as an exchange student at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis.
"Honored to become a citizen of the greatest country on earth today, very proud to be an American," he said on social media.
Morten was drafted by the Saints in 1982 and played for them for 13 seasons.
