Pelicans Make Moves On the First Day Of NBA Free Agency

Toronto Raptors v Philadelphia 76ers - Game Six

The New Orleans Pelicans are continuing to reshape their roster now that All-Star Anthony Davis has been traded to Los Angeles.

The NBA Free Agency period opened yesterday, and New Orleans made two quick moves.

The Pelicans signed guard J.J. Redick to a two-year contract and then grabbed Nicolo Melli from the EuroLeague on another two-year deal.

Redick played last season in Philadelphia where he averaged 18-points a game while Melli scored just under nine-points a game in leading his team to the Turkish Super League championship.
