LSU Freshman To Forgo NBA Draft And Return To School Next Season

LSU v Michigan State

LSU forward Emmitt Williams will return to the school for his sophomore season after deciding to withdraw from the upcoming NBA Draft.

The University confirmed the announcement yesterday, posting a welcome back message on the LSU Basketball Twitter page.

Williams played in all 34 games with the Tigers last season, coming off the bench to average five rebounds a game and finishing the year with 22 blocked shots.

Williams will return to an LSU squad that is also bringing back Skylar Mays, Marion Taylor, and Javonte Smart.
