LSU basketball's assistant coach Tony Benford is expected to leave the program.

Jeff Goodman, basketball analyst at Stadium, reported yesterday that Benford is likely going to join Buzz Williams at Texas A&M. Benford was part of Williams' staff at Marquette between 2008 and 2012.

He led LSU basketball in the post season this year after Tigers' head coach Will Wade was suspended amid new allegations in the NCAA scandal involving college basketball recruits.
