The Nuggets outscored the Pelicans by 14 in the third quarter Wednesday night to put the game out of reach at the Smoothie King Center, 105-99.

Nikola Jokic led the way with his eighth triple-double of the season, posting 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. Malik Beasley had a game-high 22 points off the bench and Monte Morris added 20 points. Denver extends its winning streak to four.

Kenrich Williams hit five of nine 3-point shots and scored a career-high 21 for the scrappy Pelicans. For the second night in a row, they played without four usual starters and a top reserve. Jrue Holiday put up 22 points. Anthony Davis was also removed from the team's pregame hype video.

The Pels have now lost four of five.
